Transportation

This pathway trains students on the maintenance and repair of vehicles and heavy equipment, including diesel engines, trucks, and automotive systems. Students learn to diagnose and service engines, transmissions, and electrical systems using modern diagnostic tools.

Get a handle on this statistic: One in 16 Texans is employed by the trucking industry. That means a career in diesel equipment technology could be a good career choice. And with 22 million registered vehicles in Texas, learning auto collision and management technology or automotive technology is a good bet. With so many cars, there will surely be a need for good repair technicians.

Partnerships with manufacturers provide specialized training and strong opportunities for you to land a job upon graduation.
